Cheryl Farley is certified with the YMCA of the USA in Foundations of Group Exercise and Healthy Lifestyle Principles. She is a health and fitness education with a focus on preventing disease rather than simply treating it. She is an instructor for “Reversing Diabetes Seminars” and is the host of the television show, “Ready Set Go Healthy” .
Cheryl was exposed to health and fitness education at an early age through Jack LaLanne Health Clubs, which were operated by her father in California. At 18 years of age, she was teaching exercise classes and was soon on her way to learning and practicing lifestyle changes that focused on preventing disease rather than simply treating it.
She has a burden to share her experiences and has taught many cooking schools in various communities, in addition to teaching simple lifestyle principles. While working with other health professionals within the “Reversing Diabetes Seminars” which are operated by Weimar Institute, she discovered how lives can be changed by changing bad habits to good habits!
In order to reach more people with this good news, she envisioned and developed a TV program “Ready Set Go Healthy” which was aired on cable and public TV throughout Maine and parts of New Hampshire. The show specifically targets, diabetes, heart disease and obesity. As a result, many are learning how to take control of their health.
