The Miss High School America Pageant competition exists for the purpose of providing personal and professional opportunities and scholarships for high school girls. It is our goal to provide outstanding high school students the tools to develop communication, self presentation and interview skills. Miss Maine Collegiate Pageant
Shannon Folsom of Saco, a sophomore at the University of Maine in Orono was crowned the first State representative from Maine on November 7, 2010. Shannon's national competition was January 8, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas where she was crowned the second Miss Collegiate America. On Feb. 5, 2011 Kristy Huff, the first runner up was crowned Miss Maine Collegiate 2010.
MASP contestants are judged in the following categories:
State level criteria for High Schoool, Collegiate, Achievement and Jr. High
We do not have categories in talent and swimwear, although a seperate scholarship is awarded for outstanding achievement in the performing arts at the state and national level.
Crossroads and MMAP offer an annual scholarship for young men who are seniors in high school. Applications for the 2011 graduating year have closed. 2012 applications will be availabel on our website by our annual pageant.
