Miss Maine Collegiate Pageant

 

Miss Maine Collegiate PageantShannon Folsom of Saco, a sophomore at the University of Maine in Orono was crowned the first State representative from Maine on November 7, 2010. Shannon's national competition was January 8, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas where she was crowned the second Miss Collegiate America. On Feb. 5, 2011 Kristy Huff, the first runner up was crowned Miss Maine Collegiate 2010.

 

Competition Requirements

Miss Collegiate AmericaMASP contestants are judged in the following categories:

  • Personal Interview (Academic Achievement) 40%
  • Fashion Runway (Personality, Confidence) 30%
  • Evening Gown (Poise and Elegance) 30%

State level criteria for High Schoool, Collegiate, Achievement and Jr. High

We do not have categories in talent and swimwear, although a seperate scholarship is awarded for outstanding achievement in the performing arts at the state and national level.

Crossroads and MMAP offer an annual scholarship for young men who are seniors in high school. Applications for the 2011 graduating year have closed. 2012 applications will be availabel on our website by our annual pageant.
